Married during WWII, Marge looks back on the frequency of service deployments during her married life and into peacetime. Marge's husband, Roy spent 32 years with the Royal Australian Navy and wasn't home more than 3 months during their first 12 years of marriage. "You never knew when they were coming or going" she says, contrasting more recent changes to leave and service conditions. "What leave we did have we made the most of!"
